Beijing Oriental Broadway International Theatre Management Company, Ltd. (JV) is the China-foreign joint venture between Beijing Time New Century Entertainment Co., Ltd. (BTNCE) and Broadway China Ventures, LLC (BCV), a subsidiary of the Nederlander family, America¡¯s leading theatre management, producing and presenting organization.
In 2005, the JV became the first China-foreign joint venture enterprise in the performing arts industry in China, under The Revised Regulations on the Administration of Commercial Performing Arts. Today, the JV is still the only licensed CJV authorized for theatre management and production in China¡¯s cultural market.
The Joint Venture will be the first comprehensive theatrical management and presenting company to operate in China, building the infrastructure to sustain the ongoing presentation of first-class world dramatic and musical productions. The JV will establish strong business practices in booking, management and customer service in a network of first-tier legitimate theatres in major markets throughout the country, including Beijing and the East China Region.
The Joint Venture will launch its first tour in Fall 2007 with 42nd Street and The King & I, followed closely by a multi-city tour of Blast in Summer 2008. |
