Chen Jixin, a distinguished entrepreneur in China¡¯s performing arts industry for over 20 years, launched Beijing Time New Century Entertainment (BTNCE) in 2003 and has since become one of the country¡¯s foremost entertainment presenters. As the former Executive Deputy General Manager of the China National Culture and Arts Company, one of China¡¯s largest state-owned entertainment companies, Mme. Chen presented over one thousand events, most notably The Three Tenors in the Forbidden City, a successful event that has been proclaimed as a major catalyst in securing Beijing¡¯s winning bid for the 2008 Olympic Games. Her other credits include Yanni at the Ancestral Temple of the Forbidden City, and the national concert tours of Amei Zhang Hui Mei, Stefanie Sun, and other prominent singers. Recognized for her visionary thinking and leadership skills, she has been instrumental in bringing successful international business model to China, including the introduction of a multi-city network of professional theatres that will stimulate the growth of the touring theatre industry throughout Asia.
