Robert Nederlander, Jr., a third generation member of the Nederlander family, is the founder of Beijing Oriental Broadway International Theatre Management Company and President of Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment (NWE). As an entrepreneur and expert in new business development in live entertainment, television and sports, he has overseen the strategic planning and financing for many of Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment¡¯s business interests including the Broadway China Network. He also led Nederlander¡¯s recent acquisition of theatres located in San Francisco, Bethesda and Atlanta. Previously, he founded and served as President of RealTime Sports, Inc. in partnership with The National Football League, Turner Publishing and NBC Sports, overseeing the production and online distribution of original sports programming to hundreds of media outlets worldwide. In addition to his corporate interests, Bob is also the producer of many theatrical presentations including tap dance master Savion Glover¡¯s international tour, as well as a series of Broadway-style shows aboard Europe¡¯s Celebrity Cruises¡¯ M/S Constellation. He holds a degree in Economics and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He launched his career at Proskauer Rose Goetz and Mendelsohn, where he practiced domestic and international tax and corporate law. Among his many professional affiliations, he is a member of the United States Council on Foreign Relations. |
