BEIJING TIME NEW CENTURY ENTERTAINMENT (BTNCE)

BTNCE is the Nederlander family partner in China. Founded by Chen Jixin in 2003, BTNCE is one of the first private companies in the performing and entertainment industry to operate under the new Chinese government regulations. BTNCE enjoys the highest-grade certificate (Type A) in the sector and has an outstanding marketing and management team. Nederlander selected BTNCE to be its joint venture partner as a result of its track record as a private enterprise, its extensive concert presentation experience, its excellent government relations and its innovations and vision for reform.

BTNCE¡¯s credits include working with Warner Music and Taiwan Uni-President Corporation to organize Stephanie Sun's successful China tour in Guangzhou, Beijing, Chengdu and Changsha. This seminal concert created a diversified enterprise-interactive model for commercial operation, accomplished considerable profits and paved the way for Chinese talent from Hong Kong and Taiwan to participate in tours in China. Also, BTNCE broke new ground in China in 2003 when it organized the Rolling Stones China tour, which though ultimately cancelled due to the outbreak of SARS, was the first time the Chinese government had approved a performance of such an internationally famous and controversial performance group.

Additionally, BTNCE, the Finnish Embassy and Century Theatre co-presented a Sibelius concert performed by the Lahti Symphony Orchestra. Along with Beijing Music Radio, BTNCE organized the 12th Chinese Song Billboard Grand Ceremony. Other events include longtime New York Metropolitan Opera performer Tian Haojiang¡¯s recital in Beijing as well as other large-scale tour concerts in Jiangsu, Anhui, Hebei, Shangdong, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, etc. in cooperation with The Same Song of CCTV.

As founder, manager and principal owner of BTNCE, Mme. Chen has over 30 years experience in the Chinese performing arts sector, including 12 years as Executive Vice Chairman of the China National Culture and Arts Company, one of China¡¯s largest state-owned entertainment companies, directly subordinate to the Ministry of Culture and responsible for large-scale entertainment events and performances, art exhibits and management of the company. All total, Mme. Chen has presented, produced, managed and/or overseen the production of over 1000 staged events and concerts in the People¡¯s Republic of China.
